Do you offer a wholesale or reseller program

Yes we can. One of our warehouses has the manufacturing facilities to produce custom made tarps in square or rectangular two-dimensional sizes. Manufacturing times can vary according to your requested size; however, it usually takes around 10-14 business days to complete a bespoke tarp. To discuss your requirements and obtain a quote, please contact our sales office on 239-643-0802.

What does ‘Cut Size’ mean?

Cut Size is an industry standard terminology for the size of the tarp material when it is cut from the roll during the manufacturing process. Once cut, the material then has seams and hems installed which in turn contain the grommets. The finished tarp can be up to 9 inches shorter, on both length and width, than the advertized cut size. It is important to remember this when ordering your tarp.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Here at Tarps-Tarps we pride ourselves on our efficient service. We aim to ship every order within 24/48 business hours of receiving the order and on most occasions this time frame is easily achieved. The transit time once shipped will depend on the item/s you have purchased and the shipping location. We are currently using Fedex for our parcel deliveries and larger orders are dispatched with various Freight Companies. Our standard shipping rate is FedEx Ground, but expedited deliveries such as 3 Day Select and Next Day Air can be requested upon checkout for an additional charge.

Do Tarps-Tarps accept purchase orders from Trade Customers?

Yes we do. Purchase orders can be faxed to our sales office on 919-552-5069 or emailed to [email protected]. If your company is looking to open a trade account, please contact our sales office on 919-552-2977 x252 and we will be happy to discuss our terms with you. References may be required and credit checks are always carried out before an account is opened; this can take up to 3-5 business days. We always require the first order to be paid upfront via credit card, debit card, check or PayPal.

What is the life expectancy of my tarp?

All of our products are subject to varying weather conditions and are put to so many uses. Because of this, we cannot guarantee the length of time they will last. It is usually the case that the heavier duty tarps are likely to last longer than the economy tarps which we recommend for temporary use. To maximize the lifespan of your tarp is it necessary to securely fasten the tarp down. Grommets can come under huge pressure and it is highly recommended that every grommet is used when securing the tarp in place. For additional security, we can supply further grommets in varying styles to help prevent grommets pulling out due to undue pressure. Which Tarp should I buy?

All of our Tarps offer great value for money and can be used for many applications. Our entire range of Poly Tarps are supplied with rope reinforced hems, rust resistant grommets and have a UV inhibitor built into the laminated coating to help decrease the risk of premature degradation caused by the sun’s rays.
For a short term use waterproof cover why not take a look at our ever-increasing range of Poly Tarps available in Blue, Green, & Camo. If it’s a heavier duty tarp you are looking for than our well liked 6oz Heavy Duty range may be of interest to you. Our Super Heavy Duty 8oz range will suit the discerning customer looking for the Ultimate in outdoor protection.

What is the most effective way to secure my Tarp?

The most popular method to secure a tarp is with Ball Bungees. These are a loop of elasticized cord with a ball on one end which allows some flexibility when securing your tarp in place. They are available in 4-inch and 8-inch and in Black or White.

Are your tarps waterproof?

All of our polyethylene and PVC Vinyl Tarps are guaranteed waterproof at the time of purchase. Once used, this guarantee is negated as all the tarps are severely affected by the weather conditions they are subject too. Our Canvas range is NOT waterproof but water resistant. I require a tarp to cut out the maximum amount of ultraviolet light; which one should I buy?

If it is a Sunblocker Tarp you require, we would advise you to consider our Super Heavy Duty Range.
The Super Heavy Duty Silver/White 11oz tarp is our heaviest weight polyethylene tarp we supply. With a black 14x14 weave base layer and made from a 5 layer material and a super tough 8 oz weight, this tarp will provide a great amount of protection from UV for years to come.

How do I cancel my order?

Due to the large amount of orders we process and our efficient handling time, it is sometimes hard for us to stop the order processing once it has begun. If you place your order in an evening within the working week (Monday-Friday), it is imperative you contact our Sales Team the following morning as soon as possible. If your order is placed within the working day (9am-5pm EST, Monday-Friday); you must contact our Sales Team within 1-5 hours after placing the order. If you placed your order with us over the weekend, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible on the first business day thereafter.
Once we are notified we will do our utmost to cancel the order for you. If however, your order has already been shipped, it will be your responsibility to return the item back to us. Upon safe receipt of your parcel your refund will be issued less any shipping charges; a discretionary 15% re-stocking fee may also be levied.

Can I return my purchase once I have removed the packaging?

Our returns policy allows unwanted goods to be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. Once a product is opened and removed, we cannot accept it back as a return.
If you have changed your mind or no longer require your purchase, we must be notified of the return within 14 days of the order date. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure safe shipping back to us. All goods must be returned as purchased, new and in their original packaging. Once the returned items are safely received back in our warehouse, your refund will be issued for the cost of the goods. We do not refund any shipping and handling charges and a 15% re-stocking fee will be deducted from you final refund amount.

I have received a damaged or faulty product. What should I do?

If you receive your order and it has a fault or has been damaged in transit, please notify us straight away no later than 14 days after the order date. You will be asked to provide a photograph of the fault or damage which can be emailed to [email protected]. Upon receipt of your email, a company Manager will determine the outcome of your query and a refund, partial refund or replacement may be issued.
